Day 1: Arrive Christchurch
On arrival at Christchurch International Airport, you will be met and transferred by private car and driver to your hotel.

Day 2: Christchurch – Kaikoura
You will be transferred to Christchurch Train station to join the Coastal Pacific train, which runs daily throughout the summer season (winter season a coach will replace this service). With the sea stretching to the horizon in the east and the Kaikoura mountains stretching to the sky in the west. The remainder of this afternoon is at leisure in Kaikoura.

Day 3: Kaikoura – Christchurch
Kaikoura is home to an abundane of marine animals. This morning we’ve included a trip with Whale Watch Kaikoura to view the Whales. This afternoon join the Coastal Pacific train, summer only (winter season a coach will replace this service) and travel back to Christchurch. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 4: Discover Christchurch
Today explore the eclectic mix of new and old Christchurch on the “Hop On Hop Off” bus. Take in the historic sights from the top deck of a double decker bus and Hop On and Hop Off completely at your leisure.

Day 5: TranzAlpine Excursion
This morning you will transferred from your hotel to Christchurch Railway station. Board the TranzAlpine train which is one of the world’s great train journeys. Along this journey you’ll see epic vistas, travel the edges of the ice-fed Waimakariri River, traverse the Southern Alps, and see miles of native beech forest. On conclusion, travel back to Christchurch where you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 6: Depart Christchurch
Today you will be transferred from your hotel to Christchurch Airport.
